The Annual Conference is almost here!

James Russell-Field, Communications Chair and Director of Administrative Services for the Fairfield-Suisun Sewer District

It’s that time of year, the Annual Conference is almost here! Whether attending in-person or virtually, make the most of it. Keep an eye on the conference site and CSMFO News for updates before, during, and after the Conference.

As we look towards another year, I’m excited to share the 2022 Communications Committee leadership. After five years of exclusively volunteering with Communications, I was looking for an opportunity to see more of CSMFO and happily accepted the role as Chair of the Recognition Committee, while remaining a member of Communications. The Communications Committee is in the capable hands of experienced CSMFO leaders, volunteers, and advisors!

Here is the 2022 leadership:

• Chair – Will Fuentes, Finance Director for the City of Campbell. Will has also served on the Board of Directors and was previously a Vice-Chair of the Career Development Committee.

• Vice-Chair – Kofi Antobam, Director of Administrative Services for the City of Rancho Mirage. Kofi is a returning Communications Vice Chair and has also served on the CSMFO Host Committee and is the Chair of the Coachella Valley Chapter.

• Vice-Chair – Jennifer Becker, Financial Services Director for the City of Burbank. Jennifer also holds the role of Vice-Chair for the San Gabriel Valley Chapter.

I look forward to seeing how Communications and CSMFO News continue to grow! I’m so grateful to all the Committee members and volunteers I have worked with who have done the heavy lifting to share valuable resources and insights with our CSMFO members.

If you’re looking for more information or a way to get involved in a CSMFO Committee, stayed tuned for a feature in February that will give insight into each of the Committees and what it takes to volunteer!
