Access to the 2021 Sessions is Still Available

Joan Michaels Aguilar, Communications Co-Senior Advisor

While I expect many CSMFO members are busy with a myriad of activities from adopting budgets, labor negotiations to reviewing the Treasury guidance on the American Rescue Plan Act, a quick reminder to 2021 conference attendees that access to conference sessions is still available to you as part of your registration. Content will be available through August 20, 2021.

One of the benefits of this year’s virtual conference was as usual the great program content, and the added bonus to go back and view a session at a later time. Did you miss the “Presenting your Financial Condition for Labor Negotiations and Fact Finding” on Tuesday afternoon of the conference? Well, now you can go back and watch the session. Does your agency have Cannabis revenue but missed this session “Cannabis – the Recession Proof Revenue or Is It? Listen as two panelists discuss their particular agencies’ experiences. Maybe you have been working at your desk too much and recall the “Meditative Moment – Chair Stretch” that Health & Wellness Instructor Jacque Wilke conducted for 10 minutes to help ease those aches from sitting too long at our computer screens. It’s available to watch or re-watch!

I know I missed out on the Roundtable Sessions offered on Thursday afternoon (even signed up for the waitlist). I have had the chance to view the session “Pivoting Service Delivery in a COVID-19 World” facilitated by Rich Lee and Karan Reid and it was fantastic. Great commentary and interaction with the attendees provide a chance to hear real-world examples of service delivery at multiple agencies. This and other Roundtable Sessions can be viewed with CSMFO leaders facilitating topic discussions.

There were several Premier Exhibitor Sessions available with topics ranging from “Keeping Continuity Amongst the Chaos” to “Technology Consulting – Digital Transformation” and “Navigating your Post-COVID Recovery – Fiscal 360 and Financial Forecasts.” These sessions were scheduled for 30 minutes and the presentation is available from the agenda or the exhibit booth under “Showcases.”
