Day one!
The first day of the 2022 CSMFO Annual Conference (not including the pre-conference sessions and golf and pickleball events on Tuesday) is officially over. What a great way to start our annual event with a bang!
After a rush of registering and COVID-checking (thank you to our prepared and efficient attendees!) we started off with the Michael Coleman Report and other great early bird sessions, which led us into our opening featured speaker, Ben Nemtin and the official passing of the CSMFO gavel from Marcus Pimentel to our 2022 CSMFO President, Scott Catlett.
We also welcomed our new Executive Director, Jean Rousseau to say a few words. Nothing like meeting 1100+ people all at the same time! He did wonderful and we all look forward to working with him.
A delicious lunch followed with dessert and coffee in the exhibit hall (so many great sponsors and booths!) more fantastic sessions and our second featured speaker; Lindsey Piegza with an engaging economic update.
Our day was capped off with a celebratory exhibit hall reception with drinks, networking, friends and of course; great swag!
Thank you to all of our attendees, speakers and sponsors who make this event possible. The Host Committee and Program Committee have once again delivered a great conference.
