CSMFO Training and Karaoke!
I don’t know about you, but 2021 already seems to be flying by! I keep thinking back on the virtual conference, only to realize that was almost two months ago. Where does the time go?
I was so glad I had the chance to get together and connect virtually at the annual conference. I missed seeing everyone in person, but it was wonderful to have the chance to virtually gather as a group and have some fun. With that in mind, our CSMFO Executive Director, Melissa Manchester, is hosting a very special CSMFO Karaoke Night! All CSMFO Members are welcome on April 16, 2021. Use the link below to join in. Singing is not mandatory! Feel free to just listen and dance along.
CSMFO Karaoke Night
Apr 16, 2021 6:30 PM Pacific Time (US and Canada)

We will need to pause and take advantage of fun where we can, since usual seasonal budget stress has increased with the addition of new state and federal legislation. CSMFO is dedicated to finding resources to help our members meet the new finance guidelines as new information on reporting requirements and procedures becomes available.
Speaking of budgeting, CSMFO is offering some fantastic budget-related training in April. If you need a refresher or have staff you want to get involved in your budgeting process, check out the CSMFO Community Calendar for dates and times for California Local Budgeting (two parts) as well as the Fundamentals of Tax Revenues.
I hope there is some good news in your community as vaccination rates continue to go up and counties continue to gradually reopen. We can get there together!
As always, feel free to reach out with any article ideas, spotlights, or comments to communications@csmfo.org.
