For those of you who’ve attended CSMFO’s annual conferences in the past, you’re familiar with the fabulous opportunities available for continuing professional education, networking, and social engagement at our conferences. Our upcoming Anaheim conference will be no exception.
While the conference officially opens on Wednesday with motivational lunchtime keynote speaker, Dr. Jeffrey Barnes, educator and author of The Wisdom of Walt and Beyond the Wisdom of Walt, new this year, included with the price of full conference registration, we are offering a full complement of early bird educational sessions starting on Wednesday morning. This will be in addition to a full line-up of educational breakout sessions available between Wednesday afternoon and Friday morning.
As for some of our extracurricular conference activities, the traditional Tuesday tennis tournament will take place at the top-notch Anaheim Tennis Center and golfers will tee off at the prestigious Pelican Hill Golf Club in Newport Beach for our annual golf tourney. New this year to tennis, we’ll be mixing in pickleball for an added twist of exciting, friendly competition. Additionally, for yoga enthusiasts, we’ll be offering early morning yoga. All experience levels are welcome at these activities.
Of course, a CSMFO conference taking place in the shadows of the happiest place on earth would not be complete without a little Disney fun. We’re planning a fantastic Wednesday late evening private party in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure.
Additional highly engaging keynote presentations will be delivered during the conference by futurist Rebecca Ryan and non-profit founder Steve Gross, as well as our special general session speakers, expert economist Christopher Thornberg and California State Treasurer Fiona Ma.
