Back by Popular Demand: The virtual trivia hour with fun prizes! (and more)
Raise your hand if you binge watch Netflix or HBO series to decompress from preparing financial statements and budgets? Are you secretly a walking encyclopedia for all things entertainment and pop culture? For those who don’t want to raise their hand up high, but need a laugh, miss CSMFO colleagues, and/or want to reconnect with someone you met at the 2023 annual conference; then join the CSMFO Membership Committee for a fun virtual lunch time pop culture trivia event on April 18, 2023, from 11:30AM to 12:30PM.
The host, Allison Tong, will provide a variety of trivia questions and participants will track their answers, which will be provided by the host at the end. This means there is no pressure to answer questions out loud; yet the hour is sure to provide memorable CSMFO commentary and silly faces from participants.
Allison Tong, Accountant II from West Basin Municipal Water District and CSMFO Membership Committee member is excited to host this virtual pop culture trivia hour. Join her and stay connect with old and new colleagues from throughout the State.

Karla Romero, was CSMFO’s 2017 Volunteer of the Year, Coachella Valley’s Chapter Chair from 2016 to 2019, has been a Communications Committee member since 2017, and a proud CSMFO member since 2007.
She has earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Business Administration and has over 20 years of progressive private and public finance experience. She enjoys seeing others succeed, thus her passion for mentoring, sharing knowledge, and empowering others.
On her free time, she enjoys “trying” to garden, reliving her childhood with a very active son (Titus), traveling, and staying connected with family and friends.
