Marisa Anticevich, CMP, CSMFO Conference Coordinator

How long have you been with CSMFO, and what’s your role?

I have been working with CSMFO since I graduated college in 2012.  I started by doing small tasks assisting with the CSMFO conference and the meeting planning team.  As I’ve grown more accustomed to the group, I now work on many aspects of the conference, including the social events and audio visual requirements.

What do you like best about your job/with CSMFO?

It’s SUCH a great group of people.  What I like best is the collaborative effort between members and staff.  Every volunteer on the committees enjoying being involved and part of the process.  That’s how the best ideas come about!

What’s your favorite Halloween/scary movie?

That’s a tough one, as I grew up watching scary movies!  I’m not sure if it fully classifies as a “scary” movie, but I love the Scream movies.

What was your favorite costume from Halloweens past?

A couple of my girl friends dressed up as troll dolls a couple of years ago.  It wasn’t the easiest costume, but it was pretty fun!  I’ll always remember tying my hair up around a red solo cup and using a whole can of hairspray.  It’s not easy getting all this hair to stand up straight!

If you had to dress up as a CSMFO staff or leadership member for Halloween, who would you choose and why?

I would choose Marcus Pimentel, because I love his Santa Cruz vibe.  And I love a good pair of flip flops!
