Welcome to our new CSMFO News, your online resource for timely and interactive information for your job and career.
CSMFO developed and invested in this new online format to evolve our magazine to allow for content to get to you much quicker, rather than bundled every other month for production. We are starting May with the “Best of” our prior magazine articles and will sprinkle in new content during this soft launch, so pardon our pixie dust as we build up to our full June launch.
This project was guided by CSMFO’s vision of being the “preeminent resource for promoting excellence in government finance” and our mission to serve “through innovation, collaboration, continuing education and professional development.”
We hope you’ll make this one of your daily home pages and will share this new website with your colleagues, as well as support all our partner vendors who help us provide you the free, high quality information you have come to depend on.
In following our “Guiding Values”, we will commit to providing every month emails on the first three Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with links to our latest content.
In addition to the expert technical articles you’ve come to enjoy, the emails will also include the latest links to peek inside the inner-workings of CSMFO and highlight members across all of CSMFO. Additionally, CSMFO members will occasionally receive breaking news articles to keep them informed of time-sensitive information.
Ultimately, it is our hope to embrace our value of creating a positive legacy by “developing leaders who share information, grow their skills and mentor others.”
